Creating an object
A 360° spin and a 3D view of anything up to 25 m across.
An object is anything up to 25 m across that visitors spin through 360° and turn in 3D: furniture, a product, a sculpture.
Capture & tilt
Switch to the Object tab and select the object. Nukxon fits a sphere of cameras around it for a 360° spin.
- Carousel tilt (0 – 60°, default 15°) sets how far the spin looks down: more shows more of the top.
- Objects up to 25 m across. Anything bigger: use the Exterior tab.
Setting up the object
- Light it like a product shot. The lighting in your scene is what visitors see, from every side.
- Hide what isn't the object: floors, tables, backdrops. The cameras go all the way round and underneath, so anything left visible ends up in your object. The background is masked out automatically.
- Good subjects are solid, with a clear shape: furniture, lamps, shoes, products, sculptures. Glass, clear plastic, mirror finishes and very thin parts like wires show perfectly in the spin and can look softer in 3D.
Then export and upload.
Spin & 3D
The two views come from different cameras. The 360 spin plays the renders from the tilted ring, 36 frames, one every 10°, exactly as your renderer made them. 3D is a Gaussian splat built from the sphere of cameras around the object, underside included, so visitors can look from any angle.
An object tour opens in the 360 spin: drag left or right to turn the object, or use ← and →. A full drag across the screen is one full turn, and a quick flick keeps it spinning for a moment.
3D, in the toolbar, shows the object as a Gaussian splat you can turn any way: drag to orbit, scroll or pinch to zoom, and right-drag (two fingers on touch) to move it. 360 spin takes you back to the spin, on the side you were looking at.
